Earthquake Questions
Presently I am living in Sikkim since last about 20 years and it has been observed that in the Himalayan Region, as well as in other parts of the earth, most earthquakes occurs at late night or in the early morning.
In the last 20 years only once I have noticed earthquake at 11 AM approx. WHY SO?

The Haiti earthquake happened at 5 PM so add it to your 20 year list.

It is sheer coincidence. There is no rhyme or reason to when the continental plates slip past each other and cause earthquakes. Although it feels like they are more common at one time a full scientific investigation would find nocorrelationn.
