Why are some Republicans still in denial about Bush?
I bought the facts to one Republican and he was such a cry baby he got my question deleted. This is what I told him. Since Bush took office, the price of oil and gas have more than doubled, which I am sure is just a coincidence, the fact that his family is in the oil business and making a hefty profit probably has nothing to do with it. We find ourselves still involved in a war way after the mission objective was achieved, which was to capture Sadaam and those so called weapons of mass destruction. Although we all know Iraq is a country well known for its oil supply, I am sure that has no bearing on our troops continued presence there. He dropped the ball on the Hurricane Katrina disaster and lied about having any knowledge about the condition of the levies in New Orleans, as video taped evidence showed him down playing the importance of having them repaired. As a president Bush has been a failure. Why can’t Republicans face the fact that they screwed up?

No president controls gas prices.
No President creates hurricanes, and levies were the governors responsibility, as was declaring a federal emergency that took 2 days….
Mission objective has changed in Iraq, deal with it.

some groups of people tend to make decisions based on their emotions and then try to justify their decisions after the fact, with circumstantial evidence that they now label, "facts". after this point they become unreachable by logic. and i’m not talking about republicans……

Bush represented the best hope radical conservatives have ever had to destroy the US Constitution and replace America’s secular democratic republic with a Theocracy-based fascist government based on the doctrine of the sadistic and judgmental Old Testament God that they worship.
Their goal is to transform America into a Christian Saudi Arabia where our schools teach children the mythological folktales created by illiterate tribes of Semitic goat herders thousands of years ago instead of science and encourages them to be bigoted and hateful against all who are different from them or do not believe as they do.
They are exactly like their radical Islamic terrorist cousins, and it is only the rule of law that keeps them from raping, torturing, and hacking body parts off the rest of us.

•Bin-laden sends others to do the killing (and to be killed).

•Christian and Islamic fundamentalists both believe (and have the historical pedigrees to prove) in conversion through genocide and see no inconsistency in murdering, raping, torturing, barbequing, and hacking-off body parts as a means to spread their spiritual messages of unconditional love and goodness.

The conservative faithful of both religions are fearful and ignorant humanity-hating sociopaths. We might not know the true percentage of dangerous Muslims, but it probably the same as the percentage of dangerous Christians – and that is probably close to the percentage of Americans who are hard-core Bush supporters.
