Earthquake Questions
I just moved to Southern CA and started to think more about the big earthquake. Does anyone know when it is predicted and know how bad Palm Springs is supposed to be hit? Thanks!

Palm springs will be hit pretty hard since it is closer to the fault then L.A. And it is not sure, supposedly in the next 30 years there’s a 99% chance of one hitting us.

If you are worried, move East of the fault line. <}:-{(

March 17, 2010 5:22 PM PST. It will be extraordinarily powerful, and catastrophic. Palm Springs will be a bonfire for about a week.

It is basically impossible to tell when it will hit as far as i know. however that area all along the san andreas fault is way way over due, so it will happen fairly soon as far as I’m concerned. If you have a Mac laptop like a macbook or macbook pro. search on google for seismac. it is a simple, free program that acts as a seismograph so you can watch seismic activity and be better prepared.
Good Luck

No body has succeeded in prediction. Only we are able to suspect. Most of the time our prediction fails. But my early warning system never failed. It has proved its capability on five occassions including on the day of Tsunami. Even though it was appreciated by several scientists still there are people to critisize my life saving inventions. I have designed this earthquake alarm in the year 2001. The usage was not approved. I was able to issue the warning 2 hours before Tsunami struck our coast with the help of this alarm. Please read my hundreds of answers given in yahoo throug google.Just type A.Ganapathy India .You can gain knowledge on earthquakes.

Soon — You should get hit with a 1.0 to a 7.0 within the next month.

a huge one is supposed to hit California soon because normally we have a pretty big earth quake every 20 years or so. This one is SUPPOSED to be (Key word here is supposed) an 8.0 and last from 45 seconds to a minute. It’s supposed to go all the way down the San Andreas fault line.

Palm Springs is one of the Sodom and Gomorrahs of California and is sure to be hit hard by the earthquake. Long Beach, Laguna Beach and San Francisco are also on the chopping block.
