Earthquake Questions
This morning a few minutes before my mom was about to get up her mirror pretty much exploded from the wall. She is so lucky she didnt get up yet. From my room it was like an earthquake. Our house is about 10 years old and i think that mirror has been there the whole time. Also, i took pictures.

It is caused usually by the foundation, when the house settles if causes the wall to warp or bend a little and as the years go by the pleasure gets to high and it breaks. it happens… it sucks, be glad no one was hurt

Most likely the wrong adhesive was used. The bath room gets a lot of moisture and drying hot and cold. Ether the glue or the paint on the back of the mirror failed
By the look of pic 1 there was not a lot of glue used.
Look at the glue that’s still on the wall. You will see that there was only a small area of each glue spot that was attached to the mirror That little flat spot in the middle of each glue spot was the only thing holding the mirror.
It’s just good that you were not standing in front of it at the time it fell.
