What would be good instrumental music to use in a slide show about the earthquake in Haiti?

Earthquake Questions
My contemporary issues class is doing a fundraiser in order to raise money for Haitian relief. I am making the video announcement for our morning announcements, and I’m having trouble finding music to go with the pictures and text. There is no video. It is about one minute long, but the song can be longer- I can always shorten it. Any suggestions?

I think this song would be awesome. I think you need something uplifting and encouraging, as well as beautiful….
"Never Alone" by Lady Antebellum and Jim Brickman

Here’s what you are looking for.
Just listen to the music but don’t watch the video and
imagine your slideshow playing. I think this music
captures the evocative and sobering atmosphere
you are looking for.

The name of the song is called "Legends".
It was composed by John Sponsler and
Tom Gire of Brand X Music. It can be found on
"Brand X Music Catalogue Volume 6."
Brand X Music composes music for movie
trailers.
Hope this helps.

-There are a couple of EXCELLENT Instrumentals on Enya’s "Shepherd Moons" CD -that you might want to check out… They’re VERY reflective & kinda sad…- the Perfect "back round music" for a slide show like Yours ! I hope it comes out all right for You !!!
