The second safest option is to hide in a bathtub located in a bathroom. Cover yourself with something large like a mattress to protect from flying debris. If you have enough time, try to go to a friend’s or relatives’ house that has a basement located in it.

Go to the center room in the house (A room that has no windows, and is surrounded by other rooms) Usually this is the bathroom. Make sure to get a blanket to cover you and your sister up just in case something breakable in the room shatters. You might want to take some canned food with you as well, just in case you go a few days without food.
Good luck, and I hope the tornado doesn’t hit anything!

Go to a friends house and use their basement. You could hide in the bathtub and pull a mattress over you or you could go to a closet near the center of your house.

Get in the bathroom and climb into the bathtub. Bring something to cover you up, and get as low as you can.
Something else that no one talks about is helmets. A lot of serious tornado injuries are head injuries, so even wearing something as simple as a bicycle helmet could help save lives. Just make sure it fits and is strapped on properly.

Well, go toa bathroom/place with no windows. Get into the center of the room/in the bathtub. Use something like a mattress to cover you up. Bring food, water, something to do, just in case you are stuck there (if it’s severe) Or go to a friends/neighbors and use their basement.
