What the heck is wrong with these poeple in Haiti?
I just watched a very disturbing video of Hatians looting in the streets getting violent. One boy about the age of 12 had a brick thrown at his head. Meanwhile a woman stood and watched holding a looted cartoon of cigarettes…. This is just like Hurricane Katrina revisted with all the looting and violence. Or like the L.A. riots. Anybody see a pattern here? Listed below is a link to a CNN article. On that page there are videos you can click and watch. Warning, its very graphic!

Please remember that 30 countries world wide are sending food and water. Portda Prince the capital where all this is taking place is located 2 miles from the airport.. Millions of tons of food and water…
When I was at the Earth Quake that happen in greece in 2000 where 24,000 people died, I didnt see any of this type of stuff happening there…

People tend to panic when they are without food or water. However, there are also those who will take advantage of a situation to take what they want through looting. Its just the way people are. It could happen anywhere because there are people everywhere who live by stealing and gang activity. Also remember that there will be no video of people behaving well. Sensationalism sells papers and gets viewers to watch the news.

your being incredibly narrow minded. Thats what the press is there for, to take a few isolated instances and make it look like everyone one there is violent. There are THOUSANDS of people without food or water that are being amazingly patient. I feel sorry for people like you, no compassion or understanding at all. You just go straight to the negitive. I wonder how you would behave if you lost your entire family and hadn’t eaten in a week.

Yeah well, when people are starving, homeless and without access to water it comes down to survival of the fittest. That’s human nature.

Deprivation of fluids can make people actually mad.
