What kind of volunteer opportunities are there that r more dangerous and risky as opposed to….?

providing shelter and food kind of stuff. i don’t mean to sound pretentious i really don’t, but being a young male, there is just something about taking risks that makes it a whole lot more meaningful & exciting to me…i intend on applying to become a local volunteer firefighter but doing some kind of international disaster relief would be great. like search and rescue, putting out fires, providing food and shelter too, but mostly physical
