What is "Fault Line" and "Main Boundary Thrust" in sesimic environment.

a "fault line" is the crack from when two tectonic plates either had compression,tension or a shearing action between them.
A "main boundary thrust" is just like the epicenter or the focus of the fault which causes the earth qaukes and valcanoes.

The fault line is a physcial demarcation that show a crack in the earth’s syrface where a split will occur when the earthquake strikes
