What does it mean to see a tornado in the distance?

I dreamt of a tornado. What does it mean to dream seeing a tornado in the distance. The scene was that I was in a home with some people I know and we saw a lot of police cars driving in the distance making a line as if it was a barricade. The barricade was to prevent people to enter into the tornado’s path.
