Ok in my high school cooking class a culinary student made a Japanese dish. It had shredded cucumber carrots and I think zucchini. It was all shredded and all the water squeezed out but not exactly squeezed out. And of course there was some stuff mixed in with the vegetables that was white it looked like coleslaw we ate it on a Ritz cracker. What she called it sound like the word tsunami and I really want to know what it is?? So if any one is Japanese and think you know what I am describing PLEASE HELP

With the recent earthquake/tsunami in Japan I’ll be flying over seas to help my family (my step-mother’s family) and friends with the disaster. I was wondering where I could get some free online lessons to help me get around over there. Podcasts, printouts etc etc any info you can give would be great thanks (:

and even argue that a tsunami is the same as a tidal wave, but is this? A tidal wave looks very weak compared to a tsunami in terms of destructive powers and distance of flow. Please explain and give me some references. I am from the Philippines and a tsunami might hit us a few hours from now. Thanks.

By natural disaster I don’t just mean a hurricane or volcano..ect I mean a specific natural disaster that happened. Also by report I mean an information text.

I already thought of Haiti and the tsunami of japan, any others?

Thanks for the help!

report not considering the tsunami, if one is generated, to be too dangerous…. ok…. sorry… you don’t have to run for the hills…. but… I’d stay aware, anyway…..can’t be too careful, right?…..
still, there WAS a tsunami… people were lost…. the warning should have remained….very sad….

I dreamt that my mom, stepfather, fiancee and I were at a crowded beach on a cloudy day. It was strange because we were up at the highest point and there were 3 rows of seats as if it were stadium seating at a movie theater, all empty except for us. They were getting bigger and bigger and closer and closer to touching our feet. People were still in the water and then a massive one rised up and as I’m watching, I’m so scared and telling my family that we have to leave and no one wants to. As it reached it’s peak a Big beautiful angel wearing a white robe and HUGE white wings, flies out of the ocean and into the tsumani. I ask everyone if they saw it and no one else did but me. The tsunami crashes on the beach and the water finally reaches us waist high. We get up out of our seats because we are wet and go to the board walk and then I’m at "home". In the room I grew up in my mothers house with my fiancee’. This dream bothered me so much I need to find out what this means. Please help

i am doing a homework assignment and i need a graph that includes some sort of information on this.
because i’m doing it on the effects of tsunamis, but i can’t find any kind of graph that shows some sort of reading that caused a tsunami, in comparison with other events and their readings.
i’ll be on for a while so if you don’t get all that, tell me and i’ll add information.
THANKYOU
