I’ve been hearing so much over these past 3 recent earthquakes, Turkey, Haiti and Chile. Many say it means the end is near and God is coming to get his people but others say its due to scientific facts. What do you think?
From the pictures that I have seen, it seems that Haiti is more devastated than Chile yet it has a lesser magnitude
i heard some rumors that the haiti earthquake could have been man made, but now just a few months later another huge earthquake? 8.0? it sounds wierd.
Another major earthquake struck Chile early this morning and it has a presumably rising death toll.
We all know about the unfortunate one in Haiti as well.
Though I live in the states, I live in California, and we are expected to get a big one sometime in the next couple of years.

The earthquakes in Haiti and Chile were both huge, and they did not occur over a long period of time, the only around 2 months apart. Is there a reason for these earthquakes? I know what causes earthquakes, I want to know if theres something else happening that caused the two massive quakes , or if it means something will happen? Or is it just a coincidence? What do you think?
There was an earthquake in Haiti, then (last night) there was one in Chili. Are we next in line?
I’m personally afraid of what’s happening now, Haiti’s earthquake, Chile’s earthquake I don’t know what’s going to happen next, i know I’m not suppose to know, but what if it gets worse, I’m really worried about how the earth is behaving and now because of the latest earthquake the days are shorter, and the 2012 is closer and everything is so connected do you think that maybe the end of our world is actually coming closer? Just tell me your opinion, and no mean comments

Haiti,Chile now im scared California is next and i get the feeling it will be a big one. Is there going to be a big earthquake in California anytime soon? How much damage would it do and what should I do because i live in California?

Is the answer to how much US taxpayers should spend on Haiti, "Whatever they need / Whatever it takes?"
Should there be some guidance or balance between US government donations versus private donations to aid the earthquake victims?
With a corrupt government now in shambles, AIDS infecting 5% of the population, a birth rate twice the rate of that in U.S., widespread abject poverty and an infrastructure that has crumbled under this devastating earthquake, is Haiti heading to become the 51st state of the United States under Obama’s leadership?

I guess we all think LA , when we think CA earthquake. If that were to be the case, the devestation would be greater than Haiti, just in numbers alone. Let’s hope we are wrong.
innocent curiosity: I just read something about we could have an earthquake in some fifty odd years similar to the one in haiti, only ten times worse. But I forgot the website, and would like to at least know where the new madrid fault line is.
10? 11? 12? Also will it cause major canyon size cracks on earth and make Vegas beach front property like the movie 2012 depicted devouring everything?
Is there a maximum magnitude earthquake you can have? Can you have magnitude 20 or above?

Pat Robertson says he has launched a ‘Major’ relief effort for haiti. Seems he has asked his followers to send him money and he will pray for Haitians.
Wonder how much he will add to his already substantial wealth at the expense of this tragedy.
I like to refer to myself as a witch (my own little inside joke) becuase i was born being able to use a larger percent of my brain than regular people. I think people can only use 25% of their full brain capacity. i can use about 20% more than them. So i have powers. I can control energy, read my friends mind (comes in handy when she’s lying to me) tell if an object is locked, unlocked, or stuck when i look at it, and see visions of the future. With the visions of the future, i get my visions in dreams. E.g. I had i a dream that i was telling someone there was about to be an earthquake. then three days later the Haiti earthquake struck. How do i tell if it is just a dream or a vision?????
What if there was a SUPER cargo ship that constantly roamed the oceans of the world that carried enormous amounts of supplies on it, i.e. food, water, clothes etc. Then when a disaster such as the earthquake in Haiti happens this ship could immediately head over an provide aid. It can just pull ashore seeing as how aircraft aid won help. Furthermore, this ship can sell its supliies to different countries and get replenished on a regular basis so that the supplies to get out-dated if a major event hasn’t happened in a while.
I’m visualizing something of a major carrier ship similar to something the Navy would have that would have a heliport and landing strip on top. I am sure we have some ships out there that do this now, but I a thinking of ONE go-to ship that will be THE official rescue ship. I’m talking enough suppiles to feed a major city. Does this make any sense?
It seems like we are experiencing back to back earthquakes. First Southern California 2 weeks ago, then Haiti a week ago. Yesterday Argentina got hit with a 6.3, Guatemala got hit with a 5.8 and Mexico got hit with a 4.0 and this was all today. What is going on?

I just watched a very disturbing video of Hatians looting in the streets getting violent. One boy about the age of 12 had a brick thrown at his head. Meanwhile a woman stood and watched holding a looted cartoon of cigarettes…. This is just like Hurricane Katrina revisted with all the looting and violence. Or like the L.A. riots. Please remember that 30 countries world wide are sending food and water. Portda Prince the capital where all this is taking place is located 2 miles from the airport.. Millions of tons of food and water…
When I was at the Earth Quake that happen in greece in 2000 where 24,000 people died, I didnt see any of this type of stuff happening there…

are we selfish enough to rely on other countries to help us and carry us while we help other countries to help us more with our economy?For example we responded to the Haiti earthquake when we first got news of it. But hurricane Katrina we responded to a few days later and we knew that was coming. Is it the president or are we selfish?
