I know one happened today it was 5.4 but there is going to be a 9.0 earthquake in California and I’m so scared. I’m only 17 and I cant move out and go back to Europe, because my parents want to stay here. My house is not build on wheels…I don’t know how to save myself or my family when the BIG earthquake actually hits.
the roads will open, trees will fall, and our houses will be in half. Are we all going to die?I’m so scared! you think this will even happen?

omg calm down!!! its only gonna be 7.9 which isnt that worse from today. No the roads wont open and it wont be the end of the world. All they predicted is los angeles will move up into san francisco after it hits. Meaning you could walk from los angeles to san francisco.

A: No. The San Andreas Fault System, which crosses California from the Salton Sea in the south to Cape Mendocino in the north, is the boundary between the Pacific Plate and North American Plate. What do mean Los Angeles will be in San Franscico when it hits? Do you mean we are going to become them.

I feel your pain and anxiety. You are at the behest of your parents and they are transfixed by LA lifestyle and/or weather. I know I was!
But be positive and look forward to the day when you can move out and go to college in another state. Even NV. That I not so far from your parent and visitations. Best of luck to you and yours.

I’m scared as well because I live in Cali too, but the news never said anything about a 9.0. To try to save yourself, you can only prepare and hope for the best. Pray and try to keep calm. I was very very very frightened when the 5.4 quake hit, and I’m not the only one luckily. Try to pack your essentials in one bag and keep them in the way of the doorway but not too close or else someone might steal them xD Good luck, and please pray for my family as well :]

You guys are saying the stupidest things I have ever heard. No LA will not move to San francisco after the quake. You will not live to see the day and and nor will you children or there children and so on. Dumb asses.
