i heard theres going to be a big earthquake soon, maybe in december, is that true?
I live in san bernandino.
Also is it bad or is it realy nothing & what will the magnitude of it will be?

The next big earthquake in southern California will probably be in the next 15-30 years depending on who you talk to. The US Geological Survey (USGS) concluded that there is a 62% chance that San Francisco will be hit by a 6.7 earthquake or greater on the Richter scale within the next 30 years (this study was done in the early 1990′s). Don’t be too alarmed though if you live there. Predictions of earthquakes is far from an exact science and if the predictions are correct, than, there isn’t much you can do but live your live normally until that day. Earthquakes can happen essentially at anytime.
So, you should start preparing for the earthquake. Besides, in California there are so many earthquakes, if you aren’t feeling any the earthquakes are at a low magnitude so, you can’t feel them.

California has dozens of earthquakes every day. Most of them are small. There is no way to predict a large earthquake.

you didn’t participate in the emergency disaster quake simulation they had a few weeks back??
maybe it will happen in december, maybe it won’t.. but if it hits.. it WILL be a big deal and thousands will die. i wouldn’t worry about it until it happens.. let’s just say it’s going to happen in the next 30 years and it will be horrible. but december? i dunno about that one..
you have ALOT of earthquakes and MOST of them are small and no big deal.

there are quakes in calif everyday. and no nobody knows with any certainty when the big one will come.

Garonteeed!! A family moved to colorado from California because they were afraid a bridge would fall on them from an earthquake. They were driving down the interstate in Denver and a bridge girder fell on their Durango killing all inside.
