Is their going to be a mega earthquake/tsaunami in California on September 2010?

I’ve been hearing rumors how about it. That a huge earthquake will trigger an earthqauke in CA and a mega tsuanami will destroy the entire west coast. I live in CA and I’m scared. Is it real or a hoax?

While a large earthquake in California is possible at pretty much anytime, there is no way to predict it in advance, at least to within a resolution of many years. The prediction you state is based on a hoax simply because that cannot be predicted in advance, especially for a given month. Last I heard a big earthquake will likely occur in California sometime within the next 30 years. That’s about as close as they can get given current technology.

Absolutely no way!!!!!!! We do not yet have the technology to predict earthquakes that far in advance. So what you hear is a hoax.

You may want to think really hard about that, and do not listen to other peoples answers. But if you have a strange gut feeling then i should pack what you need and leave the place right away and move to some where safe, then after the year 2010 And nothing happens, then you can be sure everything is safe and move back. Take my advice. you will never know rumors can be correct?
