Is the government mobilizing to respond to an oil hurricane ? Or will we wait till after the fact to react?

Oil covered farmland, hospitals, water reservoirs, power generating stations. Is a response being prepared to clean people covered by Hurricane deposited oil?
If I lived in a hurricane effected are I would be making a few phone calls and sending emails.

Your scenario is a little extreme. It won’t be raining oil. Crude oil doesn’t evaporate like water. The major worry of a hurricane would be the storm surge which would not effect farmland or hospitals. The marshes and wetlands along the coast are in much more danger.
With 150 ships skimming 650,000 gallons a day hopefully most of the surface oil will be gone within a few weeks, however the oil plumes will remain. I’m afraid the gulf fisheries will take years to recover no matter what they do.

Not by this administration. He will wait for another disaster to happen and then blame it on Bush.

If the government isn’t preparing, I think now would be a good time. Hurricane season just started, and no one can predict how severe a hurricane can be, nor can we exactly tell the trajectory of it. So before something happens of that degree, its best to prepare for the worst case scenario. Based on history, there are hurricanes that frequent the gulf which means there will be a larger mess to clean up and the damage will increase. We are in this mess regarding the oil crisis because BP failed to prepare for the worst should a disaster happen. The government is not exempt from following protocol, and I believe preparation should begin now, not after the fact.

Of course not, that costs money. Lives are cheep to the oil barons. They will wait until after like every other tragedy. Didn’t you know the NWO wants to reduce the population of the planet to a third of its current size.
