Is Seismic Assault a good card for a mono red deck?

I’m going for the Red Deck Wins strategy but I don’t know if sacrificing a land is worth dealing 2 damage.

No. The only time you should ever really use Seismic Assault is in a combo – the previous Standard combo with it was the Assault+Swans of Brynn Argol+Dakmor Salvage to draw your entire deck and then use all the extra lands to kill your opponent.
You actually have to discard the land, not sacrifice it. This makes it bad for Red Deck Wins for several reasons:
-RDWs wants to kill people ASAP before they get out their Runed Halos and Dragons Claws and whatnot, and the Assault is slow. It also forces you to hold lands in hand, when you wwant to be firing off your big spells like Demigod of Revenge or Poison the Well.
-Discarding lands is a fundamentally flawed concept, since it causes inherant card disadvantage, when you could simply replace SA with a playset of another burn spell and be much better off.
-SA simply is too slow. It costs 3 and every land is just 2 damage.
So no. Don’t use it in RDW. However, here are some suggestions I have for a RDWs strategy:
Demigod of Revenge
Shock
Incinerate
Flame Javelin
Magma Spray
Deus of Calamity
Dragon Fodder
Mogg Fanatic
