Yes they are very racist.What I didn’t understand is "WHY they only pointed out th blacks looting?" As if they were a bunch of hooligans that had nothing better to do during a crisis.I KNOW for a fact that they were not the only ones to to steal material Items.And besides who the hell would really care,it was a HURRICANE for christ sake, THAT BASICALLY WIPED OUT THAT WHOLE DAMN STATE..and they were concerned about people looting.To me it seemed like they just wanted a story to tell,and to stereotype blacks like they usually do!

Of course they are, it’s sad isn’t it. Racism to me will never go away. EVER. no matter how hard we try to overcome this.

Your probably right,but having never seen the report i can`t say for certain.However i live in Scotland and the news reports we saw of katrina showed that the black,poor and sick where just abandoned and left to suffer.

NO NO you you’re looking at it all wrong, while VIP’S were sitting the stage for themselves latter, the media helped them by shifting the focus away from them, so that the audience will forget the real issues, they get people so confused they don’t know what to believe
