False. The western part of California will move a little northward (a few inches, maybe), and that’s about it. Well, that’s about it until you consider all the wrecked roads and tunnels and cables, LOL.

False, California has had a number of major earthquakes throughout history and we are still here and California Dreaming.

False, the western part of Calif. from San Francisco south to Baja Calif. is part of the pacific plate which is slowly moving north, towards Alaska.

It is possible but the whole state won’t just a strip along the shore of the pacific. It would probablly take a few big eathquakes though. But yes it’s very possible.

I don’t think it’s true but San Francisco is built on a landfill so it’s possible that it could float out into the sea depending on the severity of the earthquake.

Sorry to burst your bubble!
The San Andreas fault is what you’re talking about. (Check Wiki.) Basically, San Fran/the Bay Area and Los Angeles would drift off into the ocean. However, it’s not going to fall into the ocean because it’s still on a tectonic plate. That’s what holds up land masses. The plate just moves; the soil above it (the mantle) is NOT going to fall off the plate.
