Volcanoes, on the other hand can occur every so many years, since it takes time for it to build pressure, and it usually is a combination between an earthquake helping it open to release magma.  Also, a volcano eruption doesn&#039;t have to be like in the movies, where an entire village is leveled.  Sometimes only a small amount of magma is released, and this can occur very frequently, depending if the volcano is known to be constantly active or not. </description>
