i want to make a simple seismograph for my science exhibition.

Go to the website to view a ‘blueprint’
1. Attack a heavy weight to a pen (gel preferably)
2. Tie it to a frame (seen in the pic)
3. Ensure the pen is in contact with the paper and not restricted in movement from too much friction from the paper.
4. Ensure the pen is secured in a way that it only can sway up and down, not left and right.
5. You can either get a motor to move the paper, or you can use your hand power
