Have YOU sent money to Haiti disaster relief?

Disaster
Easy as pie, and works NOW. And NOW is when help is needed!
Works with all US cellphone carriers…To make a contribution to the Red Cross for Haiti disaster relief, just text the word HAITI to 90999 on your cellphone. The will be billed to your cellphone and appear on next month’s bill. Painless, as well as recommended and endorsed by former Clinton Chief of Staff, Cheryl Mills.
(If that inspires you to think of a political wisecrack; I suggest discussing your issues with a shrink, rather than displaying them here.)

No, I could care less about Haiti. It’s their problem, let them deal with it.

Yes and I hope that everyone else will too. Send whatever you can. If you can send only $5. send it. If every person in this country would send $5 it would add up to a ton of cash to help these poor people. Wonder what it takes to get the attention of some people, huh?

Wow, some people are just really stupid.
But yes, I’ve helped and I actually just came back from Haiti.

No I need all my money. Sorry I know I’m mean, but I do give money to bums at streetlights, I gave money after 9-11 and then later found out the people I gave it to was a fake charity and they skipped off to South America with like 12 Million dollars

Yes, I’ve donated $5 through UNICEF using my Christmas money.
I’m 15, so if there’s adults saying that we shouldn’t help others before ourselves, then they’re really bad examples. Seriously adults – do you want youth to look down upon you? With an attitude like that, I feel sorry for your children.
Haiti is the poorest nation in the western hemisphere. Most of them die from simple illnesses because they have no food or water. Americans don’t suffer that problem. So there is no reason we should help ourselves before we help others.. We don’t need as much help as they do.

I’d like to know if all those planning to help haiti have helped the homeless and hungry in America? For every penny sent to haiti, 2 cents should be given to those in need in our own country.
Our government has already sent 100 million dollars that could have been used here. Is that not more than enough?

no, but i plan to.
i am doing all i can right now. i dont have any money right now and its not in my place to donate my parents money so instead i plan on sending clothes/blankets for the time being.
@ S. Haiti is the poorest country in the western hemisphere. America is the richest country in the world.
