Earthquake in Haiti comment I would like to make? please answer!?
Hey everyone, this isn’t really a question but its more of something I would like everybody to participate in so here it is:
There are a lot of people in Haiti right now that are homeless because of the earthquake with children and babies, etc. if you may please donate clothes that don’t fit you anymore, or clothes you are planning to throw out, please just donate it to the people in haiti because its such a good deed and you wont even know how proud you will be later. Its very important now. Just try imagining you as a homeless person and people giving you things you need, I’d be very grateful so please go ahead and donate. The reason Im writing this now is because my mom works as a doctor, an she has a lot of patients who are sick beacuse they cant contact w/ their relatives there and many had died. This made me want to donate and I spent about 3 hours taking out all my clothes and old baby toys that I dont use,to give to them so please donate. Thanks everybody! you can reply by saying what you donated or etc.

God bless you dear. I would say money is more important than clothes. thanks to all the charities working together we have many websites whereby you can donate generously. just goodle "haiti earthqauke relief" and you will find many..
Please donate….
Just think about this scenario" suppose if earthquake were to hit where you are sitting right now, won’t you spend all that you can to help yourself or your family". Don’t just think that God is only testing Haitians… This is a test for all of us…
Thanks

I was going to donate some money, but then I saw there were some new X-Box games I wanted, and that Best Buy had a sale on blu-ray movies. I do have priorities after all.

The best way to help immediately is with cash which can be spent locally eg in neighbouring Dominican republic thereby reducing transport costs.
Rotary International runs a ShelterBox scheme where boxes of equipment – water purification, tent for a family, kitchen utensils, tools etc are held in store until needed and then shipped quickly to an emergency area. the funding is from the many charity events of RIBI.
