for science we needed to answer these questions… can any one help? our science teacher gave us this site to work with: quake.wr.usgs.gov/study/

For CA- how many [earthquakes] in the last hour?
how many in the last day?
what is the magnitude of the largest?

what is the location and magnitude of the quake nearest to us on the US map? where in the US are there the most earthquakes? the least? what dates are covered for this listing?

How many earthquakes occurred on the most recent month (8-30 days)?
Where in the world are most of the earthquakes located?

For significant quakes give the following:
highest magnitude- number, location
deepest focus location (in earth)- how deep?
closest to surface
caused the most damage
