If it has been cold in some places, this winter, it has also been warmer than usual in other places. But don't you think that there was an exceptional number of earthquakes, those who know about it would have already told the press and we would read it everywhere? You see, our problem is that good news is no news. We love to read about disasters. Because the bible contains many stories that are not consistent with the laws of nature, that's probably not the best place to look to explain natural phenomena. Try a science book.
