A lot of countries give to disaster relief, The U.S., Canada, England, and Israel are just some of them.. Do any predominately muslim countries ever give their money?.
Thomas ; If some of those countries have money for nukes , they have enough to give .

For all their faults, the Saudis are second only to the US in foreign aid spending in the world. They contributed about $35 million after the tsunami and helped after earthquakes in Indonesia, Pakistan and Kashmir among others. They are also contributing heavily to the effort in Afghanistan. Not sure about other countries but it would be easy to research on Google.

If you are referring to other third world countries that are majority Muslim… I doubt that they have the luxury to afford to help, whether or not they want to. You named some of the World’s Major Powers, and they have money to spend.

Good question. We’ll keep an eye on the news for the next few weeks and see.

My friend took Muslim studies and she said they do not give to charities and they don’t believe in having mortgages. I don’t know if that’s true.

The Saudis and some Gulf State Emirates have donated to relief efforts in the past, I can’t say I heard that they are on board to donate for Haiti.

I haven’t heard of any, but the Haitians are Catholics.

Actually yes, the persian gulf states generally always give a lot of money. When Katrina hit the US, the gulf states offered billions in assistance that we generally turned down.
