Create a Myth Project for honers English any ideas for a story??? :)?
Create a myth
Imagine that you are one of the first humans on the earth. You are living in a prehistoric time before technology…before science…before life, as you know it,(if it helps think cave man and cave woman). How would you explain the world around you? Remember, there are no exsisting rules, ideas, or explanations. Remember to make this very creative.
With this in mind, choose one of the following natural phenomenons and write your own myth about its origin and purpose. Your myths should be at least one page long (typed) MLA format or two handwritten in black ink or blue ink. You must illistrate your myth. You may use clip art or pictures you draw. Maybe you want to use cutouts from a magazine. Be creative and have fun with this.
DON’T FORGET THE PICTURE TO GO WITH YOUR MYTH.

isn’t this a great project? it’s meant to hone your imagination, your writing skills and lateral thinking. pick a river and think of a girl who lost her lover and cried a river… or the heart of a princess that became the moon or the angry someone who made the thunder…
