ive heard that theres going to be an earthquake within 30 years but now there saying its gonna happen between sept 6 -10 this year but i havent seen crap about it on the local news.and they say u cant find the exact time of an earthquake.

Hmm…Actually I see now that I was being too vague. Those are the average number of earthquakes that occur worldwide per year according to the USGS.

Every since I was a very young girl I had dreams that seems to come true. For example (I had a dream my cousin was shot in the head, and in reality he was shot in the head) I was about 7 years old at that point I am now 23. To make a long story short lots of my dreams come true almost all of them but they usually happen a little different. For example, Death doesn’t always mean death it could mean something will be tooking from me or will disappear. But my cousin got shot in the head in my dream and shot in the head in real life months after I dreamed it… I also daydream vivid pictures and signs that comes true

However, lately I dream that the moon falls out of the sky and it cuts off my air but after awhile I breath again. Lastnight I had the same dream and it almost happened the same way expect it betrays like the world is at a end, and I’m holding my two kids telling them how much I love them. I decide to run to the door to see what’s happening and I see the moon falling. I try to rush back to my kids and it feels like force is pulling me and my air cuts off again. Somehow I excape the held force and make it back to my kids and I decided to hold them until death. But instead I guess the moon lands and causes a great earthquake. Once the earthquake stop we are still alive and I look out the window and see many dead bodies. Its daytime in the dream but its filled with darkness like the sun had stopped shinning.

I had Geography as a subject in BA(Pass) Course. Now I want to study geology and want to specialise in vulcanicity , earthquake (and later want to study Archeology as well) . Is it possible for me to do MSc Geology(preferably from University of Delhi)? . Is there any age limit to get admissions?

Society is seeking to destroy itself and mother nature is striking back from the centuries of abuse we have given her. The authorities, governments, organizations wring their hands and say "how dreadful, we must do something about this" but then turn to solve other problems and invest monies in things such as the war on terrorism. Rather then worrying about how other people see the world and their faith, how about we leave them alone and put in a genuine effort to fix the problems plaguing our Earth! In the end the economy, the different way people view religion, right and wrong and morality; matter not at all when our world is dead, drained of basic resources such as food and oxygen and most of our population lay decimated. Harsh words, and possibly dramatic. Do you honestly believe mother nature is not beginning to strike back and fix the balance? Tsunamis, earthquakes, tornadoes, volcanoes; the incidence of these things is on the rise- without giving mention to the corrupt state of our governments and the power plays there in, the decline of society and the undermining of humanities faith, whether that be the christian god, buddha or any other faith. Please, does anyone out there see my point of view? You, me, the next door neighbor? Give it 100 years and we’ll be dead so what do we really matter? Humanity is only one species on this Earth, and its only us that says we are the superior beings. The Earth is not for us alone, but for all life. My 15 year old cousin is the typical stubborn type of girl you see on the Maury show on Saturdays , she refuses to listen to anyone and on top of that she hangs out with these ghetto thug gang banging wannabes who talk her in the doing pretty much anything.
Today she came in my room pleading for help ,telling me that she was pregnant and needed money for some type of abortion pill, I’m completely fed up with this crap because I’m 19 and I’m already working 24/7 because of this economy , and the last thing my parents need is some hard headed teen in the house , and trust me she will do this again she’s not even in high school yet so this is only the beginning. How do we go about sending her somewhere? We’ve tried the police before and they were no help at all they only offer 30 day programs at juvenile centers then your child comes back ten times worse ,we’ve sent her to one of these 30 day programs before only to find out she was escaping out from the windows and through a drug test found out she was sniffing coke with one of her friends out on the streets in Miami , She was sent to haiti to live with a relative and of course a couple months later the earthquake hit ,and boarding schools are up to 4,000 a month when my mom can barely pay for the mortgage..
You would think in this economy things wouldn’t be so expensive

I found this in my mom’s book on natural disasters. It’s less than 1 year old…can a 5 earthquake cause damage? Please explain.

No one is responding to my previous question so I decided to ask this other question, which is almost certain to generate more attention. I think there are more earthquakes lately. Now on a similar note, here’s my previous question:

Okay, I’m a little bit of an earthquake nut, and I visit the USGS website at least once a day, to check out all the most recent seismic activity. Recently I noticed some discrepancies on their "Earthquake Facts and Statistics" page, here: http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/e…

Under the 2010 column, about a week ago I think it was, the numbers had been changed. Under the 8.0+ column, it showed 2 instead of just 1. That’s what caught my attention. I knew there had only been the 8.8 in Chile this year, no others. I checked the big list for the year just to be sure, and there was just that one. Then I noticed all the other numbers under the 2010 column were different too. It was really strange. By the next day it had been fixed, but then a couple days later it was back to those same bogus numbers again (then fixed again the next day).

Has anyone else ever noticed this happening, or perhaps have any explanation for how this happened?

And it completely freaked people out when they went outside and saw the Milky Way just blazing away overhead. They had hundreds of calls to 911 with people asking if the sky got affected by the quake.

Is that true?
