My concern is !! we had one earthquake around Central America, then another one in South America, will those earthquakes generate another one in North America,? should we (citizens of California)be worried, and be prepared ???

Every website I look at tells me that the scale uses either a log base 10 equation, or a log base 32. Sometimes it says that the scale represents a 10 fold increase in the amplitude for each whole number, while some sites say that it represent a 10 fold increase in the energy release of the earthquake. I don’t understand if I’m meant to calculate values from the scale using a base of 10 or 32.

I’ve been hearing so much over these past 3 recent earthquakes, Turkey, Haiti and Chile. Many say it means the end is near and God is coming to get his people but others say its due to scientific facts. What do you think?

With all this talk about "unity" im starting to get a little anxious. and the time is near (12-23-2012) according to the bible code as well as the mayan calendar, coincidence i think not. the signs are out there people start reading the bible. Apacolypse/ judgement day/ end of the world/ ragnorok is near.

I can picture both candidates eyes glowing like a gou’ald. and for all u narrow minded skeptics out there the bible code predicted 9/11 "twin towers burning" by specific date, Yitzhak Rabin assassination. and many other things including "the big one" referring to a great earthquake in 2010.

i suggest u do everything u wanted to accomplish in your life within the next 4 years.

I am not a doom sayer. My question is designed to get people thinking and looking to the signs. We have had 5 – 6 major earthquakes in 2010. Record snowfall in 49 of 50 states. The US economy is on the brink of collapse and a government will not listen to the people. Is this a SIGN?

I think that HAARP is being used as a weapon to send high frequencies into the ground to cause earthquakes to kill hundreds of thousands of people around the world to keep the population down. there was a earthquake in chicago recently and someone told me a fault line runs through wisconsin..i did some research myself and there has been earthquakes here but i cant find any solid information..is there really a fault line here?
