Are you concerned about the string of Earthquakes?

Is anyone besides me worried about these sudden string of Earthquakes happening? I have a feeling the worst has yet to come. What is your opinion?

Why would anyone be concerned? No one can do anything about it so why worry? Just be as prepared as you can be for an emergency.

I’m not concerned. This set of earthquakes is of no higher frequency than any other in the past. It has no meaning beyond an earthquake happened.

Not really. The Earth goes through phases of tectonic activity like this all the time. Big earthquakes are bound to happen- there’s no reason to panic.

I’m not concerned. There is barely any evidence that earthquakes cause other earthquakes except in local areas, and even then it’s not a very strong causal effect. The strongest evidence for "earthquake clusters" has come from the Mediterranean region.
Coincidences happen. It’s hard for us, as humans constantly seeking meaningful patterns in the chaos of life, to accept that there are coincidences in cases like this. But there’s very likely NO connection between the earthquakes in Haiti, Chile, Taiwan and a couple other locations in recent weeks.
