Belleville, IL 10:19 a.m., CST
Did everybody feel this last aftershock? 5 hours after the first quake and we just had another small aftershock come through.. This one was smaller though and shorter… I hope this is the end of this stuff!!!
My mom was talking to her friend in Indiana and her friend screamed and asked her if she felt it, 6 seconds later the wave had reached us in Illinois…
Son’s dad is a Dr. off of Ballas in St. Louis – says he didn’t feel it at his office… he says he was up (Wildwood, MO) for the first one but didn’t feel it either… he must be brain dead….

The 10:15 quake wasn’t an aftershock. It was another quake of a 4.5 magnitude.

This morning’s was a 5.2, this aftershock at 10:14 was 4.5 at epicenter
Evidently, there has been several aftershocks since the big one this morning. Good thing there is next to no damage and no injuries.
Wikipedia already has a complete article about it, including the aftershocks.

i work in a tall building downtown st louis and several of us in the office (interestingly, only those who were sitting down at the time) felt this most recent aftershock. less of a vibrating kind of shake and more of a quick rumble rolling kind of shake. feeling a bit anxious way up here on twenty-third floor!

I felt it too, at least I knew what was going on this time.

I work in Clayton on the 9th floor of an office building. Our flat panel monitors were shaking. Scary!

They say were going to have tremors all day.

Definitely felt it around 10:15 or so here. I felt a small shock, then about 5 seconds later a larger one that everyone in my 9 story work building felt.

South St. Louis aftershock at 10:16 am CST: House shook and pictures were swaying slightly on the walls-lasted about 15 seconds. USGS estimated, based on my answers, an aftershock somewhere in the 3.0 range here.

Yes….scared me to death! Upstairs in the home and felt the floor shake and it moved the tv a bit and box for cable…I could NOT believe it! Glad to know others felt it too….we are about 1 and 1/2 hour away from St. Louis in Rhineland, MO…near the winerys! Hope that was the end of it….to much excitement today!

Yea, I felt it too.
I live in the Creve Coeur area of St. Louis, and the aftershock wasn’t as bad as some of my friends who live in the city (closer to the fault) said. But the one this morning (that happened around 4:30 AM) was pretty bad here. It lasted about 20 seconds where I was at and I felt my whole house shaking. I thought it was pretty fun actually, as long as it didn’t collapse anything!

I felt it. I live in Edwardsville, IL (right next to Saint Louis) and I didn’t feel the earthquake at 4:37 in the morning but I felt the small aftershock. I was outside and it was really cool. I got lots of butterflies in my stomach because it was so fun feeling the ground move side to side for about 5 esconds. I don’t know why but it was really fun.
