I know that the Mayan calender ends in 2012 (Dec 23 if im not mistaken) and a lot of people think it either means the end of the world or just that it was the end of THEIR calendar…but, I have also recently heard the whole theory of ‘planet x’ or ‘Niberu’<spelling that is basically a planet out of control that will not hit the earth but will throw off the magnetic fields of the earth and cause earthquakes, tsunami’s on a scale not known by man.. there are also pictures of this so called planet x on youtube, is there any truth to this.. what are your thoughts..?

It is delusion and fraud to get people buying faked up books, videos, watching nonsense shows on TV and directing traffic to websites.
People have put forward a lot of "evidence" of disaster in December 2012. Almost everything they say is wrong. It’s more than wrong, it’s mostly lies.
Pole shifts – no, not a chance.
Magnetic poles flip – no, they will just keep moving as usual.
Mayan calendar – one of their calendars ends in 2012. There is no prediction attached to this and even if there was, it would be astrology and that has been disproved so many times that it’s not worth any more words.
Solar maximum – expected in 2011, not 2012 and it happens every 11 years anyway.
Planetary alignments – about as far from an "alignment" as you can imagine. Planets will be all over the place. Venus will transit the Sun in June 2012, just as it did in 2004 and on a regular roughly 110 year cycle before that. No noticeable effect then except on astronomers, some of whom will take measurements, no expected effect this next time.
Planet X / Niburu / black hole / brown dwarf / wandering planet / big asteroid – No. Predicted for 2003 by a loony woman who claimed telepathic contact with aliens. Ooops it didn’t arrive. Then someone heard about the Mayan calendar ending so they hooked this drivel to the Mayan stuff and then lied about the Mayans predicting anything. No sign of it then and still no sign of it.
25,800 year cycles. This is called "precession of the equinoxes" and was discovered a bit more than 2100 years ago. It has been happening since the Earth formed billions of years ago and will not stop, start or change direction in 2012. There is no particular significance in the direction the poles of rotation happen to be pointing at present or in 2012.
Bible codes – drivel. Disproved within months of the first book coming out, similar coded messages can be found in any random book or even newspapers.
Revelation – nobody ever made sense of that, the evidence for that is that there are so many different interpretations.
Nostradamus – he never predicted anything accurately. Many editions of his quatrains contain faked verses inserted long after he died.
Galactic central plane – we are near it, so astronomers say, but we have always been near it.
Photon belt – this one is almost the silliest of the lot. Supposed to be round the "7 sisters". This solar system is heading away from them, not towards them. It does not exist anyway.
So close to 99% nonsense and the remaining 1% is meaningless.
This is all fake scholarship, pseudo-science, lies, superstition and abject delusion.

The world average life expectance is currently 67 years.
At this rate, in the year 2012 about 99,565,224 people will die.
ON THAT DREADFUL DAY OF DECEMBER 21, 2012 – LIFE WILL COME TO AN END FOR ABOUT 272,580 PEOPLE.
Mankind will be helpless to prevent this tragedy and there will be much sorrow among the families of the departed. This vast number of people will lose their lives just as the Mayan “Long count” era ends!

Scientists don’t expect anything out of the ordinary to happen in the year 2012, or specifically on the date December 21, other than the solstice, which happens every year.
None of the "predicted" happenings for 2012 hold up under close scrutiny. There is no Planet X or Nibiru; it’s simply made up. The Mayan calendar ends a cycle, but there were no predictions of the end of the world. The Sun doesn’t line up with the galactic centre; it’s 6 degrees off. No asteroids or comets are actually predicted to hit Earth.
All of this stuff was put together by sensationalists in order to promote their books and TV shows, and shamelessly promoted by the History Channel. Don’t take any of it seriously!

you dont know if it ends in decemeber 2012 you only know what they tell you, something might happend or might not the only way to know is to see the upcoming events that will lead to 2012

Nibiru it the planet of angels from the bible….a vortex will shift the planet and enable this gate to come to us. they will have access to us for 3 days… only when the earth moon and the sun hit exactly centered of the milky way….yes there will be destruction but we have to destroy ourselves first b4 that process can begin..10s of millions die every year so plz plz dont give a number of deaths…..2,7 million dies in america only last year..drop in the bucket…..God has a plan……the new beginning is soon too come may God be with you all who accept Jesus Christ

I’ve seen pictures of Nibiru on YouTube. It looks like some vague object on a dark background. They were supposedly taken in January in Antarctica. One small problem – Antarctica has 24 hour daylight in January.If these hoaxers were actually intelligent, they might be a problem, but…

planet x still has not been found, and we don’t know if it exists or not.. we do know the same science that predicted neptune and uranus predicted another planet past them, then we found pluto.. and scientist thought planet x had been found… BUT pluto is no where near the mass to produce the calculated effects…
but something doesn’t add up for me… i mean surely scientist would have found it by now if it was there, but the math is there, it clearly shows a much larger body then pluto out there…. so either there’s some other unseen force out there, or for some reason, science has covered up the existence of planet x (wouldn’t be too hard either… that far out a planet would be nearly invisible to telescopes from earth, if not invisible period..)
in answer to your question, i think you’re getting somethings confused… i’ve looked into all this stuff and i’ve never heard anything about planet x hitting us and causing a pole reversal…
pole reversals are natural occurances tho.. scientist have been able to track them, they happen something like every 26,000-ish years and we are right at that point… and yes, theoretically (and very likely) a pole reversal would completely devestate life as we know it on the planet…. it’s hard to imagine it could have such a devastating effect, but if you look at the information, you can clearly see how it would devestate our planet….

Do not be scared. I assure you that the world will not end on 2012 December 21 but it will end one day. Nostradamus’ prediction of when the earth will end is far into the future, past about 3700. He still has many prophecies that are not fulfilled yet. Remember that if there is a beginning, there is an end.
The Mayan’s Mesoamerican Long Count calendar forms the basis for a New Age belief, first forecast by Jose Arguelles, that a cataclysm will take place on or about 2012 December 21 (Wikipedia). It will be the end of a Mayan calendar cycle to start a new cycle.
In the book of Revelation, it tells us about a period of a thousand years of peace. Has this occurred already since the time of Jesus? Not yet. That will still come. Those that give predictions of the world’s end, such as 2012 and numerous times during the past, are pseudo-preachers. Have they talked to God directly? If so, give proofs.
But there is something that is certain—and that is our physical death. This is what we should prepare for. It may come when least expected. We do not know the day and the hour. It will come like a thief in the night. So we just have to be prepared all the time. Search for the true God and when we find Him, follow His commandments and remain in Him until our last dying breath.
